Guidelines for visitors

REGULATIONS FOR VISITING THE PŁOŃSK MEMORIAL HOUSE

I. General provisions

1. These Visiting Regulations apply to the Memorial House, 2  Warszawska Street, 09-100 Płońsk, operating within the structures of the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk, 50 Płocka Street, 09-100 Płońsk.

2. The Memorial House is open to visitors from Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding the following days: Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, November 1, December 24, 25, 31, New Year’s Day.

3. The above-mentioned visiting hours may be subject to changes, about which the Memorial House will inform on the website dompamieciplonsk.pl and on the Facebook social network site.

4. Admission to the exhibitions of the Memorial House is free of charge.

5. During the visit, please follow the comments and instructions of the Memorial House staff.

6. The last entry to the exhibitions of the Memorial House is possible half an hour before closing time (on standard working days – until 3.30 p.m.). Visitors are obliged to leave the Memorial House before its regular closing time.

7. Visiting the Memorial House is possible as an individual or group tour.

8. Visiting the Memorial House in organized groups (over 10 people) is possible based on a prior reservation. Reservations can be made by phone: +48 882 872 837 or via e-mail to dompamieci@mckplonsk.pl. An organized group may consist of a maximum of 30 people. The condition for booking is confirmation of the possibility of visiting the Memorial House by an employee. If the group does not start the tour at the time specified in the reservation, the Memorial House reserves the right to shorten or cancel the tour.

9. Individual visitors and organized groups wishing to visit the Memorial House with a guide should make a reservation in advance (by phone: +48 882 872 837 or via e-mail to dompamieci@mckplonsk.pl). An organized group may consist of a maximum of 30 people. The condition for booking is confirmation of the possibility of visiting the Memorial House by an employee. If the group does not start the tour at the time specified in the reservation, the Memorial House reserves the right to shorten or cancel the tour.

II. Safety rules

1. Each person staying on the premises of the Memorial House is obliged to comply with the safety rules, the provisions of these Visiting Regulations and the instructions of the Memorial House staff.

2. There is video monitoring in the Memorial House to ensure the safety of visitors and staff of the Memorial House, as well as the security of property. Detailed information in this regard is an annex to these Regulations.

3. The Memorial House is located in a historic building adapted for exhibition purposes, therefore caution should be exercised when moving around the exhibition and communication routes.

4. For safety and convenience, visitors are asked to leave their luggage (backpacks, travel bags, suitcases), umbrellas and outerwear in the cloakroom. Please do not leave valuable items in your luggage or coats in the cloakroom, as the Memorial House is not responsible for them. Only women’s or men’s carry-on bags with dimensions similar to A4 format can be brought to the exhibition of the Memorial House.

5. Children under 12 years of age and incapacitated persons may stay on the premises of the Memorial House only under the care of persons with full legal capacity.

6. School groups remain under the care of a teacher or guardian.

7. Entry is prohibited to persons who are under the influence of alcohol or who behave in a way that threatens the safety of employees, visitors and collections, disrupts the order of visits by other visitors, or violates generally accepted standards of behavior in public places.

8. You can enter the exhibition of the Memorial House with a guide dog.

III. Order regulations

1. Only pedestrian traffic is allowed in the premises of the Memorial House (excluding wheelchairs and strollers).

2. Visitors to the Memorial House are obliged to:

– respect the rights of other visitors to explore the exhibitions of the Memorial House in peace and quiet

– not to bring or consume food or drinks,

– not to touch objects or elements of the exhibition for conservation reasons

3. Smoking tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is prohibited on the premises of the Memorial House. Failure to follow this recommendation may result in activation of fire protection systems.

4. It is prohibited to bring weapons, ammunition and other devices and tools that may pose a threat to life and health to the Memorial House visitors and staff.

5. It is prohibited to destroy property, including all types of mechanical and electronic devices.

IV. Taking photos and filming

1. Taking photos and filming exhibitions in the Memorial House for your own personal use does not require consent. In spite of that, the use of flash and tripods is not allowed.

2. Taking photos and filming must not cause any problems to other people.

3. Taking photos and filming the exhibition of the Memorial House is not tantamount to obtaining a license to use such works for public or commercial purposes and requires the consent of the director of the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk or an authorized person, or the conclusion of a written agreement.

4. Images of exhibitions and people should not be used in an unlawful manner.

5. The person taking the photo or filming the video is responsible for violating the rights of third parties included in the videos or photos.

V. Final provisions

1. The Visiting Regulations are available at the reception and on the website of the Memorial House: dompamieciplonsk.pl

2. The Memorial House reserves the right to change these Visiting Regulations.

3. The Memorial House is not responsible for any events resulting from failure to comply with the provisions of these Visiting Regulations and/or the recommendations of the Memorial House’s staff.

4. Staying in the premises of the Memorial House is tantamount to the visitor’s obligation to comply with the Visiting Regulations.

5. The Visit Regulations come into force on the day of their announcement.
