On October 28, 2023 (Saturday) at 11.00 we invite preschool children (from 3 years old) with their guardians to the first of a series of 10 educational workshops organized by the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk as part of the project entitled: “Restoring the memory of the former Jewish community in Płońsk – educational workshops in the Płońsk Memorial House ”, co-financed by the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland.
The first workshops will be devoted to Płońsk book makers, old books and scrolls. Children, together with their guardians, will make and decorate their own scroll books. The event will be an opportunity to visit the permanent exhibition “Glance and recall” in the Memorial House at 2 Warszawska Street in Płońsk, and learn about the history of the Jews of Płońsk as well as Jewish culture, traditions and holidays.
