The 2nd Night of Museums in Płońsk is just around the corner! ![]()
On May 16th, we invite you to 2 Warszawska Street, where from 6:00 PM until midnight our guests will be able to enjoy:
premiere of the exhibition “Memory. The Past Enchanted in Photographs,” a result of a literary competition for students of Płońsk schools, held under the honorary patronage of Andrzej Pietrasik, Mayor of Płońsk. The aim of the competition was to inspire young people to learn about family histories, memories, and the relationships of loved ones, as well as the resources of home archives. A board exhibition in the Memorial House will present the submitted works along with the photographs that inspired their creators. The competition was part of the project “Jewish Photographic Workshops in Płońsk – a Series of Cultural Events,” implemented in 2024-2025 thanks to a grant from the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland.
The permanent exhibition “Glance and recall” and the board exhibition “Płońsk in the Memories of Izaak Grynbaum”
A specially prepared board, thanks to which our visitors will be able to take a photo with David Ben-Gurion using their own phones or cameras.
A children’s game with tasks and puzzles, “The Museum Detective”
Collector’s cards prepared for this edition of the Night of Museums, on which you can collect a set of stamps from the Memorial House, the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk, the Regional Museum in Płońsk, and the Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory in Płońsk.
