Welcome to the website of the Płońsk Memorial House

Temporary exhibition “Some Were Neighbors: Choice, Human Behavior and the Holocaust”

From this Saturday, November 9, 2024, we would like to invite you to visit the new temporary exhibition at the Płońsk Memorial House entitled “Some Were Neighbors: Choice, Human Behavior and the Holocaust”.

The exhibition, which consists of 23 boards supplemented by video materials, was prepared by the Galicia Jewish Museum in cooperation with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. The aim of the exhibition is to answer some of the troubling questions about the Holocaust, why it was possible, what caused some to support the crimes of the Nazis or remain persistently silent, and many others.

The exhibition, available in Polish only, will be open at the Memorial House until December 28, 2024.
